Terms of Service
What Pest Control Work Covers and What It Does Not
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to pest-control services Delaware Pest Pros agrees to perform at the property listed in your service confirmation. The work may include inspection, treatment, monitoring, or prevention for the pests and areas identified in the written estimate or service record.
The agreed documents describe the treatment method, preparation steps, and any limits on access or results. Work on other pests, additional buildings, structural repairs, wildlife removal, sanitation, and damage restoration is outside the scope unless separately approved in writing.
We follow applicable pesticide requirements, including Delaware Code, Title 3, Chapter 12, Delaware Pesticide Rules and Regulations, and pesticide label directions required under federal law, including FIFRA. We handle pesticide products and waste as applicable under RCRA.
Applicator certification is governed by Delaware requirements. Relevant agencies include the Delaware Department of Agriculture, EPA, DNREC, and the Division of Public Health; USDA APHIS may apply to certain regulated pests. OSHA hazard-communication duties apply where relevant.
Booking Visits, Changing Plans, and Canceling
Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method confirmed by Delaware Pest Pros. Your appointment notice will identify the planned service window and, when known, the work to be done.
Please provide safe access to the agreed areas and complete any preparation instructions before the visit. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule; any cancellation deadline or fee applies only if disclosed in your estimate, service agreement, or appointment confirmation.
If a technician cannot safely access the property, or conditions prevent the agreed work, we may ask to arrange another visit. A request to treat new areas, address a different pest, or use work beyond the approved scope requires your approval before that added work begins.
We will explain any effect on scheduling or charges before proceeding. Changes are not approved merely because a technician observes a possible additional concern; the revised work must be accepted by you.
Estimates, Approved Work, and Paying the Bill
A written estimate describes the service proposed, its price, and any stated conditions or exclusions. Estimates are based on the information available at the time and may need revision if inspection reveals different conditions, access limits, or a request for additional work.
Delaware Pest Pros will explain a proposed change and obtain your approval before performing work outside the accepted scope. Do not treat an estimate as authorization for unlisted services.
Payment is due according to the timing and method stated in your estimate, invoice, or service agreement. Any applicable taxes or other disclosed charges will appear in those documents.
If a payment question arises, contact us promptly so we can review the invoice and service record. No particular price, financing option, or payment schedule is promised by these terms; the terms in your accepted estimate or agreement control for that visit.
You are responsible for paying for authorized work performed, subject to applicable law and any written service-specific terms.
What to Expect About Service Guarantees
Any warranty, retreatment commitment, or other service guarantee applies only when it is stated in writing in your estimate or service agreement. That document should identify the covered pest or service, the coverage period, and steps you must take to request service.
These general terms do not create a warranty or promise a particular duration, result, or pest-free condition. Pest activity can depend on conditions beyond a technician’s control, including entry points, neighboring properties, sanitation, moisture, and changes to the structure.
A written guarantee may not apply if required preparation or follow-up instructions are not followed, access is unavailable, or conditions have changed since treatment; the specific written terms govern any limits. Contact Delaware Pest Pros if activity continues or returns, and provide the service date and location so we can review the applicable agreement. Nothing in this section limits rights or protections that cannot lawfully be waived.
Responsibility for Service and Property Conditions
To the extent permitted by law, Delaware Pest Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it, including liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, pest conditions outside the agreed treatment area, or effects caused by conditions beyond our reasonable control. Tell us about known hazards, sensitive areas, and relevant property conditions before work begins.
Pesticide use must follow applicable requirements, including Delaware Code, Title 3, Chapter 12, Delaware applicator rules, and EPA label directions under FIFRA. Applicable pesticide waste requirements under RCRA and hazard-communication duties under OSHA’s 29 CFR 1910.1200 are not waived by these terms.
Nothing here authorizes use contrary to law or pesticide labeling. Any liability limit is subject to applicable Delaware and federal law.
Questions About These Service Terms
For questions about these terms, an estimate, or a scheduled service, contact Delaware Pest Pros at (855) 681-0299 or [email protected]. You may also write to 35207 Atlantic Avenue, Suite 4, Millville, DE, USA.
Please include your name, service address, and appointment or invoice details so we can identify the matter. We may update these terms from time to time.
The current version will be posted with our service information or otherwise provided to customers; for a change that affects an existing service agreement, we will communicate it through an appropriate notice and applicable law will control. Updated terms apply prospectively unless a different application is permitted and clearly stated.
The written estimate or agreement accepted for a particular visit remains important: review it for service-specific scope, charges, scheduling, and any written guarantee. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent allowed by law.
